This hunting lodge is by far one of the nicest places i have ever stayed the staff is all real personable the facilities are all top notch and the the hunting was amazing. If you are looking for a world class Pheasant hunt. This should be your first and last stop I strongly recommend Thunderstik to anyone looking to enjoy a great hunt with great people in a great place.
It's hard to put into words what an amazing time that the staff provide at Thunderstik Lodge, but I will try my best! The amenities and meals are second to none, with really comfortable rooms that are well-maintained and the food cooked by Lisa (prime rib, osso bucco, and fresh pheasant were our three dinners!) was out of this world! The lodge has such a cool feel to it with a rugged look and animals on the wall but modern amenities to keep everyone entertained. The scenery and setting is fantastic though. To be able to look out on to wide, uninterrupted stretches of the prairie is something most people don't get to appreciate, but Thunderstik easily provides that day after day. Plus the hunting was a big success too; the guides are fun to be around and the dogs work really well. Nothing but good things to say about Thunderstik. We've been making memories there for over 10 years now and I can hardly wait for our next trip. You haven't lived until you've experienced a weekend of hunting, fishing, and simply enjoying life at Thunderstik!

Beautiful views! Great place for hosting family reunions, hunting, and a little getaway.
Visited for a family reunion and was amazed at the facilities. The newly constructed wrap-around deck with built in fireplace offered an incredible view of the setting sun and Missouri River. The buffet was excellent and the two full time staff members made sure everything was taken care of. Their outfitter Travis took us out for the most fun trap shooting experience I've ever had. I'm looking forward to going back.
